Our friend, Michael Poster has been taking photographs for his Backroads Project.
Recently he has started going up in a helicopter to document the natural gas drilling that is going on around here.
These are some pictures of Clodhopper Farm that he took while flying over last week. Everything looks so much flatter from above.

You lucky guy having friends with cameras and helicopters! The arial photo for our area finally got updated last year but yours is better.
Awesome pics. I would like to know what the rotational sheds are in the third photo - cattle, pigs, chickens? It's a great progress report to see the effects of them moved incrementally - would make a great story if you've time to share...

They have proved to be a pretty good design, and I am working on finishing up the 7th one now. They get moved 1 pen length every day, using a homemade dolly under the trailing edge and pulling them by hand from the front.
