The Great Piano Fire of '04

I bought this piano at an auction for ten bucks. Hauled it home, moved it into the house and stubbed my toes on it for two years before I finally admitted that it was going to cost more to tune and repair it than it would be worth. Watching it burn was worth the ten bucks though.

Nice.

I remember going to a farm auction many years ago where the owner of the farm whose contents were being auctioned, decided he'd rather burn his piano rather than sell it for $5. So at the end of the auction he poured gasoline on the thing and torched it.

Burning old piano's can be a thing of beauty

I have some furniture that will follow me to the grave if I don't do something like this with it!
